This holiday season the Hlatom City Public Library has three wonderful events for families.
Friday, December 10, beginning at 6:30 pm, we will be showing the feature film,"The Polar Express". This is an after-hours program and will be contained in the meeting room located in the foyer. The main part of the library will be closed and unavailable to the public.
Thursday, December 16, at 6:00 pm, we wll be hosting our annual Holiday Bedtime Story hour. Attendees will be treated to a puppet show, holiday stories, refreshments and a visit with Santa. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras. Children are invited to wear their favorite pajamas.
If you would like the opportunity to have your child's picture taken with Santa, wearing their holiday finest, the Friends of the Haltom City Public Library will have their studio set up Friday December 10, from 10:00am to 12:30 pm and Saturday Decemebr 11, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. This is fundraising partnership between The Friends and Walgreens, located at the corner of Denton Hwy and Broadway Ave. The price for the photos are $3.00 for a picture or $5.00 for a greeting card. The photos will be taken at the library, but parents must pick up the print at Walgreens.
