Happy Holidays from the Haltom City Public Library!



Come make a Book Craft Ornament on Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is for adults and teens, and no registration is required. All supplies provided while they last.

The Haltom City Senior Center is very proud to present a Cliburn in the Community Concert on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Rachel Cheung, a 2017 Cliburn Competition finalist and audience award winner, will perform a free 45 minute concert to our seniors.Everyone is invited to this free concert, but please call and make your reservation with the Senior Center by noon on Thursday, December 6th. Cliburn in the Community provides the experience of live classical music performance for free to a broad audience through partnerships with vibrant venues and organizations throughout the Fort Worth area. The program brings in young, emerging artists for week long residencies to include performances and other community engagement opportunities.

Escape the holiday madness with Coloring and Cookies for Grown Ups. Enjoy Christmas cookies and holiday themed coloring pages on Friday, December 7, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. A special door prize will be given out this month.

Teens can come HANG OUT on Friday, December 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for games, snacks, and crafts.

Enjoy some Christmas music with Flutissimo! Flue Choir on Monday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. This free concert is open to all ages and no registration is required.

And for what you've been waiting for - SANTA! Thursday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m. the library will have a special Holiday Bedtime Story Time!  Make sure to bring your camera and wear your best pajamas for an evening of full of fun! We will have the Merry Makers performing, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts, stories, and refreshments! 

Teens can DECK THE HALLS on Friday, December 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to make an ornament craft, watch a holiday movie and enjoy a snack.

Be on the the lookout! 

Come to the library and grab a crossword puzzle to learn about the library's resources and be entered to win an e-reader!

The Library will host a Santa Paws Tree for the Haltom City Animal Shelter. Come in and choose a gift to purchase for the shelter. More details coming soon.


Don't forget!

The library has lots of holiday movies and books for you to enjoy! When the library is closed, you can always check out an e-book or audiobook or a download a magazine or comic book
